Bola Tinubu,
national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says his party is
doing
well in the ongoing local government election.
Addressing
reporters after voting at Alausa in Ikeja, Tinubu said his party has overcome
the crisis that broke out after the primary election.
He said
conflict resolution is part of democracy, adding that “nobody abrogated
anybody’s right”.
“The
exercise is going smoothly. Thanks to the people of Lagos state. The streets
are empty. The people respect the governor and the call of the party for them
to turn out,” he said.
“Look at the
turnout in a short period of time. We have peace at various local governments.
I have been monitoring other local governments. We are doing well.”
